Frasier, please tell me how this amazing restaurant appears as number 2 in Tripadvisor... It's simple Niles, people who write reviews for the other restaurant do not understand the complexity of fine dining by calling it pretentious. It is far from being pretentious, it is extraordinarily delicious! The level of food quality that is served at Chateau Pizay is second to none. The service is human and professional. They could teach a few things to the people at P. Bocus. Foodies, do not miss this place. The hors d'oeuvres were creative, well-presented and delicious. I forget the description for each item served, but they were a pleasant surprise. La creme de mais (corn cream) served with a popped-corn was simply amazing. The flavours were heightened by what I can only guess as some form of reduction. I would not mind receiving the recipe. It is truly amazing... La glace (ice-cream) was quite interesting and would compete with Adelice. Dinner was an endless treat of exquisite food items meticulously prepared. We enjoyed it as much as you enjoyed preparing it (well.. to be honest, I think we enjoyed it a bit more). The food experience pushes this restaurant to the top of our favourites in the following order: L'Atelier (Ottawa), Chateau De Pizay, Arrowhon Pines (Algonquin Park) and Terrace Mission Hill (Kelowna BC). Try this place for a romantic dinner or simply to enjoy great food! We hope to return soon.
An aperitif (wine of straw) hummmm...Very good truffade, with a succulent dessert (apple tart) everything was fresh.. Perfect service. Boss who takes great care of her customers. Thank you very much Ms Clo. I recommend
