GNH Fish Bar - Charters Towers

Catch n chef makes incredible burgers. We tried the steak, mint, and fish burgers. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the fish fillet used in the fish burger, and it was thoroughly enjoyed. The burgers came with all the usual "must-have" salads and sauces. The fries were cooked perfectly, with a great combination of spices and a texture that was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. We were just passing by and not many other places were open on a Sunday afternoon, so we were grateful to have found this fish and burger shop. We drove a few minutes to a park and enjoyed our meal there. Thank you, Catch n Chef, for a wonderful dining experience.

I ordered the small fisherman's basket and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. The box it came in initially caught me off guard, but once I transferred it onto a plate, I was amazed by how much food there was. I couldn't finish it all. The interior could use some sprucing up though. The chairs and tablecloths looked a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning. Despite the aesthetic issues, the prices were fair and the service was excellent. This was my second visit and I noticed a plaque on the building that could be utilized better for advertising instead of the outdated A-board. The staff were very friendly and I wish them all the best.

Standard seafood selection . we always choose their fishing and chips the most time in charters towers

This classic Fish and Chips shop has maintained its traditional quality, pricing, and taste. However, a young man has recently taken over and added a fresh energy to the restaurant.

This is now Catch n Cook. I put a phone order in at 6pm for a 7pm collection, I arrived at 6:58pm and my order was not even started, I waited an extra 25 minutes. When I got home with the order the fish was...missing. Rang and went back to get my fish. Then when eating the crab sticks had plastic still on them. Never again....
