Rt's Cafe - Charnwood

I usually don't write restaurant reviews on TripAdvisor, but I had to make an exception for this fantastic little cafe. After the challenging 18 months we've all had, I think more people need to discover RT's. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning!

I visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast. The food was beautifully presented and served piping hot! The open plan kitchen allowed diners to watch the chef in action as well.

I visited Rt’s for the first time and was impressed with the variety and quality of food options. We opted to sit inside due to the cold weather, although there were also tables available in the front and back of the cafe. The staff was friendly and there were clear signs regarding Covid safety measures, although not all customers were following them.

Only for takeaway at the moment. Food collected from the desk, hand sanitizer available, one way systen in operation. Lunch was as good as usual, Bangers Mash, Chicken strips Chips. Tom hasn't lost his touch! Takeaway containers are of excellent quality, not the cheap ones usually associated with fast food joints. Please pop in and try for yourself, and support local business. Best to ring in you're order first.

Always come in for a breakfast- would definitely recommend! As a fussy eater, I can easily build my own breakfast with whatever items I like so I don’t have to pay for things I don’t like. Nothing is ever too much hassle for the staff! Always very helpful and always point out specials which I am yet to try being so fussy! Although, the specials do smell and look amazing the few I get to see when eating my breakfast.
