J E's Yankee Diner - Charlton

Best food in town. Wicked old building, modern amenities added (TV and wifi) w/out hurting the charm. Service is great, really personable. It's small so not the most seating, but usually enough room at the bar. Plenty of parking.Only ever had breakfast, down to try their lunch and dinner at some point. Good place to hang out and get food, only other options in Charlton are pizza and McD's (one new diner opened but haven't tried).Give these guys a go.

Our waitress, Holly , took our oBreakfast order and the cook got is exactly right. She was friendly and professional. The food arrived quickly. It arrived hot.

Never had a breakfast so good in my life! absolutely amazing everything. sat where i was able to see into the kitchen and the chef was very diligent and cleanly, also kept a well rounded/kempt kitchen!

Facility could definitely use some modern upgrades, but food and service is still excellent and we will keep coming back.

WOWZER!!!! That’s some seriously good food!! I’ve been searching for homemade corn beef hash that can rival every other diner in the country and THIS IS IT!!! Perfectly cooked, nice and lean corn beef with perfectly cooked over easy eggs. I’ve found my breakfast home.My wife is equally pleased with perfect pancakes and spinach with cheese omelettes. How could you go wrong with that lineup.But it doesn’t stop there because Holly is your waitress extraordinaire! This woman is hands down the best waitress around. Friendly and doesn’t miss a beat.Do yourself a favor and go check out this historic diner. You can thank me later.
