Row House Steak & Lobster

The food at this restaurant was poorly prepared in every aspect. The Hakibut (actually Schellfisch) was tough and tasteless. The fries were undercooked and greasy. Even the salads were lackluster. Overall, not a good place to eat.

Make sure to stop by here before catching a game (it is situated next to the Swiss Federal Center of Arts). My daughter absolutely loved her ribs, and I thoroughly enjoyed my red pepper soup and mixed green salad. This is a great spot for a delicious meal before heading out for a night at the theater.

Four of us had reservations at this restaurant because three of us wanted to order the lobster dinner in advance. When we arrived, we found that the servers were confused and we had to explain our reservation multiple times. As we were seated, one of the diners who did not pre-order lobster discovered that the side dishes contained ingredients she was allergic to. She requested to replace them with a small Caesar salad, but the server returned and said the cook refused to make the substitution. It took three servers and 10 minutes to finally pay for our drinks. It was disappointing that the restaurant was unwilling to accommodate a simple request, especially considering the high bill we anticipated. Given the confusion and lack of service, we were unsure if the dinner would have been worth it in the end.

Delicious! We ate here last night before we go to Tell Tale Harbour. We ate outside and people watched while waiting for dinner. Our waiter was completely new and he did a great job! I had a salmon court and my husband had a steak sandwich. The food was a bit waiting, but we don't mind, we were on vacation, so there was no rush!

Went there for dinner bc trip advisor gave it a 4/5 rating. Ordered our drinks and waited about half an hour to get them. I had sangria and it tasted like just red wine. My sister had a pina coloda and had to send it...back bc the milk was sour. I had the 6 pm tenderloin steak. The steak was actually pretty good but it cost $41 and they charged me $3.50 extra for the mash potatoes which was not disclosed to me until I got the bill. Oh and the mash potatoes were cold. My sister had the fish which she said was tasteless. My brother-in-law had the lobster roll which he also said was terrible. After we finished eating we noticed the filth under the table. I will post pictures. Also the bathroom was disgusting. I will never eat here again.
