Burtons Grill - Charlottesville

Post Thanksgiving dinner, party of 5. Excellent service, above average food quality, a little on the pricer side. With the tip (wait for it) 413.00 Meh worth the money!

Great service, friendly and helpful. We had a group of 8 and overall things went smoothly although we did have to make a correction to our bill. I enjoyed the beet salad but didn’t think it was the most amazing thing as some reviewers said. I would have liked more greens with it. Our appetizer of shrimp was good, again not amazing. Partner was very happy with their salad. Cocktail beer on point! Will come again to try other dishes.

I had the beet salad and it was one of the best I have had. I really like the check coming with a QR code. Simple and very clear what you ordered. Multiple staff came to the table, so our was a team effort. Felt good!

It took about 15 minutes to even get a menu and another 25 minutes to get our drinks. This was on a Thursday at 2pm with not many patrons in the restaurant. Food was average for the price.

Nice place. Steak was ok, not cooked exactly as requested but good. French fries were awesome and their general TSO cauliflower was a great treat. My brother had the fish which he loved and my sister had the short ribs which she raves about. They ask up front about any possible food allergies.
