Tavern At The End Of The World

Great little local pub. The fish chowder was tasty with only enough smokey taste. Calamari was slightly baked. The burger drowned with goodness. The salmon BLT was perfectly cooked with an aiolli that brought the exact correct amount of heat. Spacious portions, attentive, friendly service.

Amazing food, excellent service and great portions for an excellent price. It's my first time to visit Boston and thought I'd stop for lunch. GREAT CHOICE!!! I recommend Definitely try the Black Lachs BLT

We dived for some drinks and expected typical bar food, but instead had the best chicken salad sandwich of my life and the burger was also amazing! We couldn't believe how delicious and fresh everything was. You have a lot of great stuff to try on the menu.

What a hidden jewel. Our party of 3 came to the last call for the kitchen, starving for a visit to the Sam Adams brewery. At least I knew this random visit would lead to a shocking surprise. If you think of a hole in the wall of Irish pub, that's it. I wish I could bring the bar to my own neighborhood. The drinks were great and the service was impeccable. My friend ordered the Guinness and the keg was tapped. The bartender decides to replace the beer free only if the first option was not good. In terms of food we were hungry and we arrived last. Our expectations for food were low. But we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the steak frits. When I took the first bite of the steak, it had the perfect radiation on the outside, while I kept a delicate and juicy center. It came with a spicy sauce, well paired with potatoes. That was one of the best steaks I ever had. I wonder if it was good luck, but I would like to come back and try again. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. I hope it only holds enough clientele to stay in business, but not enough to lose it charm to be a hidden gem.

Exactly what you'd expect to find in a genuine Irish Pub. Beer selection and food was just like Ireland. Back patio is super cool and bar is good. The fish and chips were just okay.
