Market Street Cafe - Charlestown

First time here and had fried oysters with cold slaw and salad, Best fried oysters I have ever had, nice salad, the cold slaw I would not get again, very unusual, very wet and hard to find slaw, waitress was great, Definately going back again for the fried oysters and did I mention you get a lot of oysters !

There is eating is amazing large portion great service! esse there for years and has never been disappointed when they order a big cheese steak better bring a great appetit

We had the fish and chips and the oyster sandwich. The fish and chops were done to perfection and the oyster sandwich had so many fried oysters you could not close the roll. You had to eat many of the oysters before you could even think about eating them as a sandwich. Breading on the oysters was light and flakey and were crunchy with a great tasting oyster inside. This is our place for oysters!!! Parking: Some parking on front and side more out back. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap out front off street and a ramp to the front or side door. Being a local to Charlestown, my family and I practically make Market Street our second kitchen. Let me tell you, it's hands down the best bang for your buck in town and even out of town! But hey, don't take my word for it compare it yourself. The crew over there? Super friendly. And the grub? Always top notch! Seriously, their sweet potato fries? To die for. Especially when it’s paired with the Texan Burger! And don't even get me started on those hoagies – they're LOADED! The BEST AROUND! Market Street, hats off to you for keeping your prices down while serving up such deliciousness. No overcharging there, and that's something we can all appreciate in this economy!
