Blackmoor - Charlestown

Amazing food, huge portions, different take on bar grub standards (lamb burger, artichoke wontons).

Every time I come to Charlestown I hit Blackmoor. The service is always attentive and good. Food is good and comes quickly. Rangoon’s and Eggroles are great shareable apps. Always have an interesting beer menu. Mayflower Cssk ESB was exceptional. It is always energetic for sure. It is not a romantic spot or for quiet conversation. That’s fine. The crowd is upscale overall.

The food was delicious. The spinach and artichoke rangoons melted in your mouth. The pretzel was good but make sure you eat it while it's hot so it doesn't get hard. The flavors in the fish tacos were amazing. This was a find thanks to a Nift gift even though I bike by every time I cycle to work and we will definitely go back to enjoy more dishes off of the menu.

Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, food was mostly good but a little hit or miss. The ribs were fantastic, though the side of mac and cheese left a little to be desired.

First time dining at Blackmoor and it was a very positive experience, we will go back. The food was very good, notable was the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and garlic spinach! Very moist and tender chicken and the bowls are good as well, albeit a bit on the dry side, perhaps a extra sauce could be offered on the side. The drinks were also quite good, the hibiscus margarita was delicious and not too sweet. Service was pleasant and efficient. Will go back for more!
