Stones Throw Tavern - Charleston

Fantastic local tavern. Good food, great service. 20 plus Beers on tap including local brews. In-house made salad dressings, absolutely love. Terrific atmosphere, and some outside dining. Breakfast served on Saturdays and Sundays.

Its okay but not great. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and got the chicken tenders as an appetizer. The Alfredo came with just the pasta and no chicken so that's already 1 point lost. Not sure how someone forgets the chicken in CHICKEN ALFREDO. The pasta was severely undercooked very disappointing. The chicken tenders however were delicious. Their hot sauce is very good, perfect amount of spice. The chicken pieces themselves were big cuts of meat so that was a huge plus! But all in all its just okay, nothing outstanding for the prices they charge. Its simply mediocre in my opinion. I wanted to like this restaurant but I was left feeling unimpressed. 2/5

A true hidden gem. Our first time in. Monte Cristo and Chicken Philly were ordered. They were fantastic. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Already making plans to try their brunch soon.

We walked in on a Saturday evening around 630 and sat ourselves right away. The atmosphere was awesome. Artwork by a (probably) local artist was a topic of conversation. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar and that was nice for ambiance. Food was delicious and served in nice time. We had loaded fries, Smothered chicken, and chicken fajita salad. Our server was attentive, but not annoying. This place is close to home, so we will definitely be back!!

This food we waited for at least an hour and a half for. This order was wrong, the monte cristo must have raspberry sauce with it and there was NONE! We spent over 100.00 and all of our food was wrong! I don?t think we will be back again and we eat out very often.
