R Kitchen - Charleston

Awesome experience! Staff was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. I do not like carrots but the carrots I had tonight were amazing! We had a great time and will be back.

Unfortunately, we got a Reservation at R Kitchen. Space, old dive bar atmosphere, dirty with many trip hazards. Food and service were mediocre, scrap-sized portions made it unnecessary for them to have To Go boxes. Spent $591.00 for one bite of steak shoulder bubble gum. David was super friendly and hospitable, but Alex was extremely rude @7:45 for us to get out. Gotta spread the word on this sham.

We sat at the bar and could watch the chefs prep and serve the meal. A fantastic meal, very simple but full of flavor. Chefs were fun and engaging. Menu changes often. Our party of 6 had a fantastic experience.

R Kitchen is a unique, local experience! I first went almost a decade ago, and it remains a go-to and recommendation. My sister and I went recently for her birthday celebration, and it was a delight! I love the blind-tasting concept, and the fun energy from the chefs. I highly recommend!
