Kaminsky's Dessert Cafe - Charleston

Charming dessert cafe with attentive service and friendly wait staff. While I wasn't completely satisfied with the desserts, particularly the dry and lacking flavor chocolate cake and below average cappuccino, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his delicious apple cinnamon cake. I have updated my review to four stars after the owner's kind response. It's worth noting that my critique of the chocolate cake is based on personal preference and others may find it enjoyable!

One of my favorite places in Charleston!! I cannot say enough about how great the drinks were and the slices of cakes were huge and yummy. I got the key lime martini and hubby got apple pie. The cake we tried was caramel banana spice and it was amazing. We visited this place everyday. Loved it

If you have a sweet tooth, go here once, and you are definitely coming back. Oversized portions of sugar drenched cakes and pies are offered. We ate here first and then had dinner elsewhere to balance out the sugar spike all that delicious cake offered. Kaminsky's is a popular destination for people aware of it.
