Cupcake Downsouth - Charleston

Found this place on the internet while on vacay, jumped into the car and drove over. 1. They were more than accommodating when we demanded light freezing. My Hubby loves the chocolate cupcake while I love the red velvet, Bourbon Pecan and the key lime!! The Bourbon Pecan and the most important lime cakes were perfectly baked with butterfly edges, moist on the inside and full taste. The Red Velvet was also on moist with rich cream cheese frosting! A little expensive but worth it!!

If you want a great cupcake, try it. I am an enthusiastic baker and I just want to say that the consistency of freezing is perfect, the cupcake is always divine. I was in many cupcake places from Charleston to Summerville and they are the best. And they always have great service. I would like to see a place in Summerville, maybe in the new city center they are building. I would even be interested in working there when this time comes.

Always a fantastic experience here! Love the rotating schedule and there is ALWAYS something yummy to try! This place is a must when you're in town!

Columbia, SC-Ordered assorted cupcakes and vegan cupcakes for family birthday’s this past weekend. Wow!!! Everything was delicious!!
