Beautiful old secular pub, good service and huge portions eat.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great food. Also great value.

Always a treat to come to the Hanging Gate as the service is so wonderfully warm friendly. Personnel are obviously well trained attentive. The food is beyond delicious portions are definitely NOT skimped on. The place has a great selection of drinks to cater for most tastes. Add in a car park a outside space for diners (when weather permits) all in all you will get the idea of why this is a favourite.

Very friendly Staff and a good pint, I didn't eat but the food looked amazing.
