Histoire 2 - Chantilly

We stumbled onto this place as it was on the same road as our hotel. We got in just after the lunch rush so had to wait a little for food but considering how busy they were it wasn't that long. The food was...excellent and the staff friendly. It's always a good sign when the locals eat there. We would happily go back.

Our party of 4 arrived at 16:30 expecting to have an early dinner, we are obviously not European.... The owner greeted us and said that dinner is served at 19:00

Atmosphère également parfaite pour un repas, pour un café ou pour un boire un verre. Personnel attentif et amical qui créent un endroit familier. Le menu offre quelque chose pour tout le monde et le tout de qualité. Meilleures salades de Chantilly et le café...gourmand vraiment excellent. Si vous êtes dans la région, ne perdez pas votre temps à chercher autre part. Fantastic little cosy place of which the atmosphere is equally as perfect to have a meal, for an afternoon coffee or for an evening drink. The staff are both attentive and friendly making it a very familiar environment not an easy feat, having been in the service industry myself. The menu offers something for everyone and all of it is prepared, served fresh and I have never yet been disappointed. By far the best salads in Chantilly delicious. The café gourmand (a French speciality involving coffee and a selection of miniature deserts) is also excellent. If you are in the area, don’t bother looking any further.

Seemed as if employees working didn't appreciate me talking in English. Felt awkward would not recommend.
