Bidrage med feedbackGreat place to plot a conspiracy. Most of the items are past expiry. Especially the watery coconuts. Please buy them here if you want to kill anyone in your family. To add to that they only refund/exchange for 1 week after the purchase. Not sure how come FDA has not got them yet.
This is probably one of the cleaner, better stocked and laid out international markets I've been to, but: 1. The music is ridiculously loud inside Why? It's not a club! 2. The carts all had wobbly wheels... how odd! Everyone I passed with a cart was making the same noise as mine quite annoying! 3. I couldn't find anyone to help me find things in the grocery area. Plenty of staff in the buther/seafood areas tho. But each time I've been, no one in the produce nor grocery areas. Overall, it's not bad, it's very tough to find stuff and I end up spending too much time walking in circles. It's nice that the store is clean.
I was truly amazed when I went through the doors. Such a nice store. The produce section is beautiful. So colorful and, organized with such a variety that I wasn’t familiar with about 1/3 of it. I found everything I needed—items I found no where else but online and the prices are decent.
Apparently this place is very popular based on the line that formed during lunch hour. My first time visiting. I got the Dolsot Bibimap with chicken. Got my steamy hot bowl, kimchi and dug in. Loved it and I have a sensitive tummy!
In the DC burbs you have HMart and Lotte, both have multiple locations. HMarts often have a cafe and it is very worth sampling the chow. This Lotte has a cafe tucked away in a back corner. Both offer grocery foods and fresh produce from various Asian nations, as well as Indian foods, and some Mexican and European. Lotte has roasted ducks hanging for purchase and this particular one has an excellent bakery as well as an Indian sweets stand. The fresh and frozen seafoods are the most wide ranging you will find at both types of shops. This Lotte is large, and the tea and condiment selections alone keep me coming back. They also have a small housewares department, where you can find utensils you won't find anywhere else but an HMart or Lotte. I got an enormous whistling teapot that makes me laugh and makes enough fast hot water for multiple bowls of Pho or ramen. Of all the Lotte and HMarts I have been to, I think this one is my favorite. The parking lot can be an utter mess though, so watch out!
