Evilion Bistro - Chania

Had a nice time here. Friendly staff but not in your face, and the food was good. Not great, but for €22 for two mains and a half litre of wine that’s very good. Not a huge number of veg options, but enough to make us consider going back.

Menu clearly marked, attentive staff, quick service. Really a good place to go to if you’re in the area, the burger was filling and tasty.

The owner is the nicest person. He is very enthusiastic about vegan food and this shows through how he talks about it and how many options there is. We tried the falafel plate, vegetarian butcher burger and vegan mushroom gyros. All the options were tasty but the service topped it off. One day he even gave us a try or his own personal vegan chocolate he’s brought from the shop with was so nice of him, such a friendly man!

I wish I could give 5 stars, but unfortunately that is only possible for completely vegan restaurants If you have the opportunity to visit this place, you should definitely try it! You will be greeted by a super friendly waiter and almost every dish can be made vegan. We had the vegan Greek salad and the mushroom pita, oh my! That was the bomb!

Once we asked what could be made vegan, our waiter was very accommodating and said most things on the menu could be! We had mushroom gyros and they were soooo good! Would recommend!
