Axel's River Grille - Chanhassen

This was our first visit to Axels in Chanhassen. Our server Lisa was excellent and the food was very good. Will go back again

This was our first visit since the new owners have started changing the menu. We are Happy Hour regulars and had enjoyed the fish taco (lettuce wrapped) off the Happy Hour Menu. That item has been replaced by a shrimp taco in a corn tortilla. My date had that and declared it OK but not nearly as good as the fish taco. I had the Walleye Fingers off the appetizer menu. They were also just OK as several had a pronounced fishy taste. The service was excellent. I hope this was just a one time poor showing.

Wonderful venue! One of my absolute favorites. We sat in the Prince booth, which I love, as it provides some privacy and noise reduction. Our server was very good. I’ll definitely refer my family and friends to there.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and consistency in all of our meals- fish- chicken- steak all flavorful and well prepared.

Great food, company service. Love the Happy Hour menu.
