Bidrage med feedbackHolds so much value and information about our culture and History. Great place to explore, hang out and food around durbar square is great. Evening and morning time are best to sit and absorb the beauty of this place!
Visited this historic place, learned a lot about its history. There are a few museums located inside which charge entry fees separately. Overall I had a good time wandering here.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the centre of Bhaktapur, Nepal. With finely carved palaces, temples, and statues telling stories of the past, this historical gem is like walking into a living museum. Local sellers, familiar scents, and the steady beat of daily activity all contribute to the lively ambiance of the square. In temples like the imposing Nyatapola Temple, spirituality is celebrated in this centre of culture. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a cultural hub where customs and holidays come to life in addition to being aesthetically stunning architecturally. For those who want to fully immerse themselves in the culture and history of Nepal, this location provides a strong connection to both of those elements.
A great place to know more about the historic area. Very nice to see the old historic building. The downside coming here. As a foreinger, I have to pay 1800 rupees just to see the outside the building. I was not able to enter the old king palace as only for Nepali or Hindu People to enter. Ticket can be bought in the entrance area. I am still giving this place a 5 stars because of the historic stories and a fascinating structure of the buildings amazed me.
Beautiful historical place. Must visit when to go to Nepal. You can get some very good pictures clicked here. There are many shops to eat and buy stuff from there.
