Taco John's - Champaign

I have been here twice now. Both times their hours listed online, as well as the hours listed on the front door said they should be open. And both times they were closed.

Food cold…$15 bucks for loaded burrito and two mini tacos…1st and last time. Sorry

Enjoyed this location at least 20 times over the past couple years. The straight up original crunchy taco is definitely better than Taco Bell for flavor of meat and shell. The hidden gem on the menu are the “street tacos”, which are small, flour-shelled and have crumbly cheese and are delectable and relatively nutritious. Have have steak and chicken street tacos, both yummy! One small issue is that the meat is sometimes not piping hot, so if management sees this review, turn up the temperature … – show

I hope today was a rough day. The stuffed chicken burrito was more like a moderately filled burrito. The churos were bland. The potato oles were wonderful as usual. Taco John's is normally my favorite, but today I would rather had taco bell.

I always enjoy the food here, and have received good service. It's one of my favorite restaurants to get tacos.
