Bidrage med feedbackA little loud, and service can be slow at times, but food comes out quickly and is always hot. I think there a better places on campus to get Korean with similarly reasonable prices. I got the bugolgi fried rice which was standard, pretty plain, but satisfying with a fried egg on top. I'd probably recommend their kimchi jiggae more.
I don't understand why this place doesn't have a higher rating. The food here was so good, and the portions were big! I got the 순두부 찌개 (soft tofu soup with beef, and my friend got the 떡 만두국 (rice cake and dumpling beef soup . My soup was just the right level of spicy, and it was piping hot as it should be. My friend also enjoyed her soup with rice cakes that were cooked well. It was the perfect way to warm up on a cold, rainy day. The atmosphere is nice, and I think the Lego sets displayed around the restaurant were super cool. I'm happy I finally found a Korean restaurant on campus that isn't super Americanized. I will definitely be coming back again. :
I really liked this place! was brought here by some friends who go to uiuc and was suprised by the amount of flavor and large portion sizes available here. really liked the bulgogi fried rice as well as the glass beef noodles. highly recommend.
This place is a gem in campus. Not one of the most well known restaurants, but easily holds its own when comparing cost and flavor. The spicy Korean fried chicken here is the best I’ve had in Champaign. Prices seem to be going up and portion sizes seem to be going down unfortunately.
The waiters here are crazy and will slam the door like crazy when you are using the bathroom, trying to kick you out. There is no courtesy to the customers, the front desk is arrogant, and after giving a rational response to the waiter's rude behavior, the front desk has no apology attitude. I really think the staff here needs some professional training, and if you don't want to be so angry to cause you feel disgusted, I suggest staying away from this restaurant. By the way, next time you should directly call the 911 if they slam the door again
