Bidrage med feedbackA lovely place to enjoy your breakfast. I came during Champaign restaurant week and ordered hot breakfast sandwich and burrata salad.
I would probably give it 3.5 if I could. The food, decor, and drinks are all very nice. They usually have a vegan/gluten free lemon biscuit type thing (follows my dietary needs) but did not have it the last time I went. I did have a chai latte with oat milk that was delightful, though. On the downsides: The front door is a little old and thin which makes it a bit drafty in the winter, and the seating is a bit cramped and limited. But overall a great place to grab a drink and have a chat with a friend or 2
What a treat! Myself and 2 friends bought different pastries and shared. Everyone was a special delight. If you like fresh original or fresh familiar you’ll be pleased. We all bought something to take home to splurge on later. (Only thing I’d of enjoyed was the option for hot Irish tea) The English tea was nice. Being served on real dishes was a nice addition to our visit.
Food was incredible, only problem is the prices are a bit steep. Definitely a first date/impress somebody kind of location.
I loved the idea, concept, and decor of the place but unfortunately like other reviewers, the pastries look good, but many times are dry and tasteless. I ordered a croissant that was bready. Inconsistent quality but looks great. I want to like it more than I do because so few places here with a good ambience and good food. For croissants Bakelab for the win. Cupcakes here have been dry. Pastries hit or miss. Not worth the drive and expense. I also like to pay for quality but not for inconsistency.
