Denny's - Champaign

Our waitress was horrible, couldn't get order correct. Food was cold, place was dirty, room was freezing. Our toast came as we were taking our last few bites. She kept forgetting items. It was really bad.Food: 1/5

When I got there I noticed there was only one waitress/worker working. I sat down and ordered an oven baked lasagna. It took a while to finally come out of the kitchen and once it was sat down in front of me it had a sloppy presentation I then gave it the benefit of the doubt and dug in. The first bit I took showed the meat inside was too light to be cooked all of the way I proceeded to try it. After the first bite (which was only the top) it didn’t taste as bad. I then proceeded to take a second bite digging deeper into the dish once eaten it tasted like complete soap. Not only did the presentation look way worse than the picture on the menu but the taste was horrifyingly disgusting. The only good part of the experience was the waitress/worker and her understanding smile.

While Momma and I usually like Denny’s food, this morning’s visit was just the worst ever. Momma ordered her eggs over medium and they came out looking like snot, my biscuit and gravy was ugh. Biscuit hard and chewy with no flavor. Gravy wasn’t made with sausage; just a white paste with cut up pieces of sausage link in it. AND the sausage tasted a little off. I’m praying we don’t get sick this time!What’s up Denny’s?!?! Maybe a new breakfast cook is needed?Our waitress was Great, tho…

The food was very good and our server was nice and on the ball, but it took quite a while to get our food and it wasn't busy at all.Food: 5/5
