Le Roc des Blanchets

We visited a lunch while skiing with our 2 children. The food was delicious. However, the recruitment of the staff was very disappointing. I went to the bar and ordered in French “deux grande bieres SVP”. The Merciful repeated my words about the clock and laughed at my colleague. When we finished our meal, a waitress came to clear the table, my husband said “Merci”. Again, the employee repeated his sentence with the word “merci madamme” during laughing. We felt very sad. We love France, have waited two long years to return and usually find the French people warm and welcoming, but this is clearly not a restaurant where the British are welcome. Disappoint.

Great place at the bottom of a selection of long distances, so whether you are an intermediate or an expert this is a great place to meet. Beautiful looking food around us spoiled for choice and very nice coffee without pressure... to buy a meal if all you want. Friendly service, but come early as it is crowded as it is popular!

We had a fantastic meal here on a cloudy day on the Champagne pistes. The food is great with a focus on meat and cheese, French style. The Steak Hache (grill-steak) was nice, and the roast chicken was a huge portion. On a clearer day...the views would have been even better.

Splendid location at foot of the Rossa chairlift with extensive views down to Champagny, over to Courcheval and Mont Blanc. Enjoyed snacks and hot chocolate on 3 occasions here. Well established and appointed. Lunch menu looked good but unfortuneatly never managed to actually eat lunch...here. The location makes it.
