La Rossa - Champagny-en-Vanoise

This place is too expensive. Always had to wait in a long queue to get food or drinks. Not the best food, but they enjoy their location at the top of the mountain.

They have an outside area, but it is exposed to sighting winds. We went inside, beautiful and cozy, many pieces and pieces decorate this place, the food is beautiful and the pizzas exceptional. We ate pizza and salads with a carafe of wine after coffee. A good stop, as we wanted to change from the enormous proportions of Les Borseliers!

Great location at the top of the gondola and perhaps why the food is bad and too expensive. My Croque Monsier was really terrible. The bread was sponge and tasted of cardboard and instead of the content spilling in my mouth (as one would expect)... it held together stubbornly. This is such a simple dish to prepare, but one way to get it wrong is to get it to excess, let it cool and wrap it in cellophan, then back in a microwave. What it seems is what they did. There were others like these waiting for customers. My daughter's chips were hard and her burger was very average. My wife's sorted meats were good, but expensive. If you come, order a coffee and appreciate the deck chairs. Eat somewhere else.

Nous nous y sommes arreté pour boire un verre et manger un bout. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique, en plus d'être souriant, nous donne de très bon plant pour visiter la région. Nourriture bonne mais sans " plus ", nous y avons passé un excellent moment, avec une vue execptionnel sur Champagny ! Nous y retournerons !

Restaurant d'altitude, bon rapport qualité prix. Prix raisonnable vue la quantité dans l'assiette.A tester la reblochonnade, la crozinette, ...Accueil et service très bien !
