Southbound - Chamblee

Delicious south food with a twist. tried the deviled eggs, hamburger and chamblee hot chicken. wow, super tasty! also had the bananenpudding and the gluten-free chocolate tart! great eating. a little expensive, but worth it.

Beautiful building that we had an excellent evening meal. we tried the teufelseier who had crispy speck on her. then my hubby chicken wing had mac n cheese. the wings were smokey sharp. the mac n cheese is great. my son had the brisket, perfectly smoked slowly roasted. he ate everything! the only feedback I would give is to add a dipping sauce for the fried boobs. total really great food service.

Inventive dishes with a southern flair. Service was excellent everyone felt welcome. Charming atmosphere for dinner with a date or small group.

Collard greens didn't taste right. They need a different flavor altogether. Likewise with the coleslaw. The beef short rib was incredible. Definitely order that if you eat beef. Chicken wings were fantastic. Mac N Cheese was okay. Staff was very nice and super accommodating. Restroom was clean. Just wish they had more. Restaurant is easy to get to and they have ample parrking. No COVID protocols seem to exist here. People were super close to one another. If you plan on dining in, I highly suggest getting vaccinated.
