Bidrage med feedbackStay clear of this place folks.. worst service I’ve ever experienced. Waited for 10 minutes to get asked what we wanted without being giving a menu, when we asked for a menu it was like asking for a pint of blood.. You have to scan a bar code for the menu we were told but the Wi-Fi password is 25 characters long and doesnt work, as I’ve tried it 20 times. I had to send my food back to be re-cooked and when the waitress brought it back she threw it in front of me without saying word as ignorant as you can be.. as she walked away I said thanks and she didn’t bat an eyelid Anyway, we won’t be back, and I advise everyone else not to go back either.
I enjoyed a lovely evening meal here in late September. I was on my own and it was dark and I felt uncomfortable walking around as no one was about, so I ventured in. It was still early, around 7pm, the restaurant almost empty, but the greeting I received was warm and inviting. I wanted to eat fresh fish as I was by the sea and that made sense to me to eat the local produce. Being alone it made it difficult to find a fish small enough for my appetite, but the waiter had a word with the chef and I ended up eating a wonderful small turbot. I was asked how I would like it cooked and I said baked as I didn't want too rich a meal with lots of butter. The result was delicious with heart artichokes, mushrooms and some potatoes. All I know is it tasted very good. I drank 2 glasses of draught beer with it, which surprisingly went down well with the fish and I even found room for a dessert Mascarpone cheese mousse with some sort of chocolate biscuit and a lovely coffee to round off the meal. I had no idea how much it was going to cost as the turbot wasn't on the menu, but the bill was 55 Euros. Turbot is expensive, so I guess it wasn't unreasonable. The restaurant became quite busy and the clientele looked quite discerning about their culinary needs. In other words, one got the impression that the restaurant was well thought of, even though possibly not the cheapest one around. Still, you get what you pay for in life and I have to say that the service was impeccable and the restaurant put itself out for me and I was very grateful. I felt very comfortable sitting there alone and very full when I left, haha!
We visited last year via a recommendation and really enjoyed it, so we decided to re visit this year (twice)......and so pleased we did! On the first occasion we were all in the mood for pizza`s and we were told by a local that theirs was one of the best AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Our only mistake was to not order 1 pizza between two people boy were they big, but ever so tasty. The second occasion was outstanding...the adults all decided on steaks. We ordered portions of roasted potatoes and fries plus roast vegetables and we absolutely cleaned our plates...all washed down with a reasonable bottle of Sangiovese. Once again our young grandkids were so well looked after by the excellent staff. Looking forward to re visiting next year. I really recommend this restaurant!
Lovely garden setting, really good wide ranging menu includes basic pizza for kids all the way upwards. Fabulous grilled meats, really helpful service, and a lovely outdoor setting Definitely worth a visit with an appetite!
Big pizza! the staff was a little “anti children” but really exceptional food
