Bidrage med feedbackHi there! I’ve been to this Kura twice now and I have some things to say.First,Taste the food we chose had low quality taste. We order from the tablet most of the time but we were really disappointed with the crab hand roll. The seaweed wrap was old and had absolutely no crunch to it. The crab was overly mixed with a mayo type sauce and was saltier than it should’ve been. The flavor of the other dishes were kind of subpar. Maybe the cooks should “taste” the food often so they can improve on the food’s taste. I was extremely disappointed by the mochi desert though.Customer service when we first came in, we had to ask if we could sit down or sign in, however the servers did give us anything we asked as soon as we asked for it and often came to us asking how everything was.Price the price was very decent, we had 2 drinks and 15 plates and ended up paying about $68 for it all. Compared to little Tokyo the price is better but you have to wonder why..To summarize it all, I hope the cooks and prep cooks start tasting their ingredients more. Also, if I wanted to have bad pieces of avocado in my food, I’d stay at home and cut it myself… the plating of the food looked rush and sloppy, I say take pride in the food you’re serving at least. It’s not hard, y’all had 10 customers in the restaurant! I digress, I would come back again if they try to improve upon those things and don’t oversalt stuff or change the original mochi dessert… Cheers!
Try to get there on a weekday. Weekends will have you waiting outside, it's so popular. The serving robot is so charming , but that shouldn't distract from appreciating the efficient and friendly staff that run the place, especially when the house is slammed with customers. My only quibble is that I wish they had cushioned benches to sit on while waiting I have a bad back, and the hard chairs were a bit challenging that Saturday. The staff did try to accommodate us the best they could. If you've never had the conveyor belt sushi experience, make sure to take your time. For someone who likes to eat, it will feel like a winning slot machine, except you're getting food instead of coins. This was my first time having salmon toro, and I loved it. The selection is pretty big, and you can use the tablet to order if you don't see any of your favorites rolling by.
It just as it says, revolving sushi that's on a conveyor belt that goes around passing by for you to grab. Each dish has a description of what it is so you know what your grabbing. Dishes are priced by plate/color. Special orders can be made and sent to your table on a separate conveyor. It's pretty cool!! Drinks are brought too you by a robot, which alleviate a waiter. It's kinda cool the way they have it set up. Sushi is pretty good too!
This was so much fun! Highly enjoyed the robot waiter. You will Feinstein eat more than you think you will?Kid-friendliness: It's visually entertaining for kiddos
I took my girlfriend and she was in love with it. While I don 't belive that it is perfect for everyone it was for use. Really enjoyed the variety and that fact that our servers allowed us to eat in peace. I would recommend being careful as the plates can add up fast.Food: 5/5
