El Rocoto - Cerritos

The food is hit or miss here. Stick to the traditional food and you will not be disappointed. If you try their fusion or Italian dishes, then I don’t think you will like it. I tried it once and it just gave me a stomach ache for days and nausea. Tons of parking. Other than that, lomo saltado, ceviche, and other dishes are fantastic.

So good! Great food, very authentic, feels like you are almost in Peru despite being in LA County!

Charges there own tip if you have a family of 6! One being an infant! Good food but not good service!

I guess we lucked out, arriving just after the lunch crowd, we were seated right away. Their food was spot on, I have been to several Peruvian restaurants El Rocoto gets all the high marks! Cerviche Mixto was fresh with just the right amount of acidity enough for 2 people to share. The anticucohs corazon was flavorful tender, and their arroz con mariscos came with enough seafood ?? with every bite. The wait staff were pleasant and checked on us several times. Highly recommend when you're in the area ????
