Wonderful as always. the Cobb salad was smaller than before, and the price has gone up to $21.00, but then everything has increased in the price.

Terrible service, but eating was good! we came to lunch; there was a single person on another table and on the pub side maybe a few tables. Each who served us (there were two really not too happy to serve us. it took forever to get our drinks that were just a pint and a coke. When we commented on this, we were told that the barrel had to be changed. certainly it doesn't take 20 minutes. because the restaurant was so empty, we could hear that the server women entertained very long after we gave our drink order. So, yes, I guess it can take a long time to change a keg if you need one to go even and try to pour a drink first place! even if the burgers and fish and chips we have ordered were quite good and the actual situation is so historical and interesting, we will certainly not be back. the experience with the servers just killed the exit.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant for my birthday, but the service was very slow. We waited for over half an hour after ordering, even though there were only 3 tables seated and one table was already eating. We understand that restaurants are still adjusting after the pandemic, but we expected the service to be a bit quicker. We arrived at 12:10pm and didn't receive our food until 1pm.

Sitting in their windowed dining area on a bright sunny day made for a lovely lunchtime experience. Varied lunch menu has something for all tastes and everything was delicious.
