Bidrage med feedbackThe stalls at Albert Centre keep changing but there are some favorites such as this handmade yong tau fu 5 90 per bowl, lor mee and wantan mee. There are many fishball noodles stalls and some are pretty good. Many stalls have closed down such as Chendol. So I had the special treasures set which was a huge waste of money at 3.80. Some interesting options are blue pea nasi lemak rice, pig organ soup and braised pig trotters. Strangely , there are 2 chwee kueh stalls, Bedok chwee kueh and a branch of Jian Bo from Tiong Bahru. Many choices indeed
This is an affordable and speedy clothes alteration service tucked inside Albert Centre. He's a mute Uncle; will understand your needs better if you use simple sign language. He's patient and will give you good service. I highly recommend his good work.
Lots of good food, everything we tried today was good. Was there at about 8am to takeaway, some stalls already had queues. Recommend the porridge and chwee kueh
As a prawn noodle lover, decided to try the '火城大虾面 '. The soup is indeed robust and flavourful. The noodle is yummy with the tasty chilli paste. However, the pork rib is a bit tough, with mild favour. The prawns are ok. In terms of eating experience, it is quite a pain to try de-shell the prawn with the filmsy delicate disposable spoon and chop stick. For $7.50, one would expect at least some decent cutlery. For prawn soup lover, it is still recommended.
There is wide variety of fantastic food. Bought the bee hoon chicken set and Nasi lemak fish set $3 each set) for my wife. The bee hoon was in a generous portion and the chicken wing was still hot and crispy. Also, the slice of luncheon meat was twice as thick as what I got elsewhere. The nasi rice was fragrant and the ikan bilis were crispy. For the price of $3, I think it’s very economical! I like the dessert from this stall 甜品之家。I got the mo mo cha cha for $2 and it was delicious and the jellies inside were soft. The green bean soup cost $1.50 and the portion you get is definitely worth the money. The western food stall looks popular as there are always people placing orders. Bought some for my kids. I think the prices are very reasonable.
