My partner and I visited The CABIN for a cozy New Year's Eve dinner, as they were hosting a private event on the actual night. The atmosphere was simply stunning, with twinkling lights and a winter wonderland ambience in the forest. We started our meal with delicious borscht soup full of flavor. The Chardonnay from Penticton B.C. complemented our meal perfectly. I indulged in the salami, artichoke, caper, and parmigiana pizza, while my partner enjoyed the mixed mushroom, blue cheese, and Kessler ham pizza. These dishes were more than just your average pizza - they were flatbread delicacies that were absolutely top-notch! We had the pleasure of chatting with Jason, the owner and chef, who was not only talented but also incredibly humble and kind. We highly recommend The CABIN and look forward to returning in the future!

If you're ever near the Kootenay Lake Ferry Terminal, be sure to stop by for a meal. I tried both dinner and brunch and they were both top-notch. The food was simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious, exceeding the typical pub fare. The service was fantastic as well. This place is just another reason why I adore the East shore.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Cabin! This upscale casual restaurant is located in a beautiful, secluded spot with the same high-quality food you would expect to find in Vancouver. It's clear that Jason cooks with top-notch ingredients and a lot of passion for his craft. You won't be let down - definitely worth the trip!

A group of us had dinner last night at Cabin, thier first night open, and it was such a beautiful experience! Sitting outside was stunning and you have that same amazing lake veiw inside. Everything we ordered, starters, mains, desserts were delicious! I recommend taking the time to stop and enjoy a meal here before heading on the ferry or continuing on wherever you may be going.

Wow!! Came for lunch today, and everything was DELICIOUS!! Korean wraps are very filling with a perfect ratio of filling to lettuce. The pizzas are very flavorful with an amazing crust! Try the ginger beer, it's the best ever!! We'll be back again and again while we are visiting beautiful Kootenay Bay!
