Sole D'oro Wood Fired Pizza

Great pizza, great service!! The owners are so lovely and really believe in sourcing good sustainable produce which really shows in the quality of the food. This place is perfect for a date night, time with family or friends or even to get some alone time with great food! Highly recommend!

Quiet and clean place, pizza was delicious. Atmospheric music. I will come back there for sure. At the end we got a small bottle of liqueur. Nice gift

Avoid this filthy place! I have just moved into the Palmers Green area and decided to take my wife to celebrate our first night in Palmers Green: we decided to try Sole D'Oro restaurant for a pizza. Before the food arrived, I decided to use the toilet, which is just past the kitchen. I saw a the pizza chef scratching himself and when I got to use the toilet, it smelt awful. Honestly, there are food hygiene standards and this place is supposed to have a good food hygiene rating. I was in a quandry, as I did not want to spoil our first night for my wife. I didn't say anything to her, we had our meal and were charged £2.70 for a coke!!! When the pizza arrived, it was a greasy mess. I feel sick thinking about it, but wished I had such a review to read as this before dropping in. I should have known better, as we were the only customers on a Saturday night!

Last time I was there I ordered pizza with parma ham, the crust was awesome, but I didnt like the ham, it overtook the pizza taste and just tasted pork. Please use another producer of parma ham…I also didnt know oregano had to be ordered as an extra. Do Italians eat pizza without oregano? anyway, that was last time, but this time I got smarter and ordered exactly the way I wanted it and it was by far the best pizza I have ever eaten! tomato sauce, crust, awesome! So tasty, I m glad I gave it another go! Will defo order again! Well done!

We wanted to explore other italian fresh pizza and ordered the best seller/popular pizza from Sole D'Oro with high expectations given the good reviews. It was disappointing when our order Prosciutto e fungi pizza came very dry, rubbery and tasted like old pizza with small amount of toppings. Definitely not recommended from the experience.
