The Star - Central Bedfordshire

I tried the free chicken dish and it was incredibly tasty, cooked with mushrooms, truffle, and sage. It was the best meal I've had in Leighton Buzzard. I also enjoyed a lovely pint of Black Sheep beer.

Ate here for the first time last night since under new management. Simply superb with respect to food quality, customer service, knowledge, flexibility etc. Amongst us we had the ribs, haddock, pork shoulder and child's chicken. Jake was super attentive and excellent value for money! Definitely recommend and we will be regulars now considering it's in walking distance. Too good to miss.

My second visit since the re-opening and I wasn't disappointed, even with two staff down. Very friendly, fantastic food and friendly staff. Already booked in again!

Yesterday, we celebrated our daughter's baptism at The Star and it was absolutely perfect. The pub is charming and Rob and his team were wonderful. The food was delicious and the bar staff were always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!
