Hug-hes Cafe - Centerville

Went to be seated and had to wait for the table to be cleared then had to ask twice for plates and our drinks. Ordered a salad that included chicken and substituted avocado for it but was charged for both the chicken and avocado. When asked why the manager said it was an upcharge and not a substitution. Won’t be returning.

Loved the chicken fried steak! Fish chips are really good as well. Nice atmosphere and our waiter was great

We are regulars at Hug Hes and have gotten to know the staff well, Mac manages the places amazing during the day, but we have noticed an issue at night. There are always at least 5 very young teenagers (probably jr. high age) that are around the front counter. They are almost always goofing off and ignoring what is happening around them. This place is amazing! Darling atmosphere, fancy but comfortable. The food was AMAZING! The Philly CheeseSteak sandwich was the best I've ever had. Tons of peppers, and mushrooms, and we got it with white America cheese and it was gooey delicious. And of course the beer bread there is so famously delicious and rightfully so. Been here twice now and service is top notch, food comes out almost too fast, I'm always surprised but they are efficient. Portobello Chicken and French Dip are great choices. Update* Come here all the time, wait staff are always 5 stars.
