La Pergola - Cefalu

I was here with friends when I made an excursion to cefalu. the waitress was the kindest we met in Sicily and the food was also very good. we sat outside and had a nice sunny view. would certainly recommend this place.

Fantastic spagetti see eating and hard fish, the best we've ever eaten! the terrace is very beautiful!

We had a snack and we wanted to use the bathroom. they answered, we cannot use because they simply cleaned it. I asked again the reason, the same answer. I guess that once is clean, do they close it forever? I had to ask the next bar.

We had driven a long way to arrive in Cefalu this afternoon and as we missed lunch we wanted a place to enjoy light mid afternoon meal and drink so we could enjoy our dinner booking later that night. After the waitress refused to let...us order just one pizza to share, we got up and left!!!! Pity as we didn’t even get to making our drinks order as we were hoping to have a nice bottle of wine to enjoy with it. Never have I ever had such a bad Cafe moment in Italy in all my years! Give it a big miss!

Although located in the main tourists promenade in the old town of Cefalu, La Pergola appears to be mainly supported by local speaking Sicilians. The Pizza’s have a thin base with just the right amount of topping to highlight the main ingredients. Staff are friendly...and have a sense of humour. Pets are permitted in the outdoor dining area. Well priced for the budget conscious diner.
