Cotton Patch Cafe - Cedar Hill

It was our first visit to Cotton Patch very nice place very clean our waitress was very nice and friendly, but seemed a little distracted with other employees. but overall it was a good experience and we will come back.

I wanted to get the last meal before you leave the city and decide on cotton patch with my mother. She's a big fan, but I? ve was just once in the past, but based on the meal I had, I would definitely return. We both ordered the same to get the fried catfish and shrimp combo. This came with two sides and roll or cornbread. We both chose the roles. I also chose green beans and corn. The fish was perfectly cooked and I only got a small piece of bone over all fillets. The shrimps were also delicious and I got them with cocktail sauce. Overall, this was one of the best meals I had? ve had from a chain restaurant regarding catfish, especially at the price!

Cedar Hill's location has dropped. Quality is bad. I bought a new item, beef tips. You have very small pieces of beef the consistency of what I think is dog food. The maize cake gave them only 2 stars.

Great food. Terrible service. The whole environment was very inadequate. Many employees stand around and do nothing. It was as if there was absolutely no management, so no one was motivated to give good service. We waited incredibly long to take place (it was 9 a.m. on a Monday evening and was NOT busy the least). When they finally acknowledged the waiting, they went very unchalantly to a table for us (there were many dirty tables waiting to be driven). They removed the dirty dishes, and then plagued with some staff, then washed the table, then with some staff again, then finally and finally we sit on a soaking wet table. When we asked for a towel to dry the table itself, they came very slowly with paper napkins and ran their hands over about 1/3 of the table. It was a moment of the twilight zone. I have never seen how such a thing is not important, all go around half sleep overall environment. We love Cotton Patch, but not this special (our first time in this place).

Stopped in for lunch, great as always. Had Strawberry Pecan salad. Guest had Chicken Fried Brisket. He said leave that deep fried food to the County Fair ?!
