Pablo's Mexican Grill - Cedar Falls

If i could give 6 stars I would. Been going here since 2014 and make the trip back despite living out of town. Homeade salsa, best quesdillas, better than Pancheros.

Was recommended by friends, showed up and there was only 1 other table of customers. When ordering the were rushing. We said 3 times we had never been and asked for recommendations and they said just pick what you like in front of you upcharge for almost everything(sour cream and veggies really). 40 for 2 meals is a lot for what this is. In my opinion just go to any other Mexican place and spend the same for the sit down quality restaurant.

A bad apple spoils the orchard. Unfortunately, there are a few people that work here who don't care for customers and only care about their own convenience. For over a year I've dealt with eye rolling 15 minutes before closing time, and I decided to handle that as an adult.... I've worked in food service before and I get it, that's not fun, but you get to choose your attitude. Tonight I was turned away at 7:57 PM. Doors weren't locked, hours say they closed at 8 PM. They looked right at me, inside, and said they wouldn't serve me. It was inconvenient for them, sure, but I spend good money here regularly. Not anymore. I'll spend my hard-earned dollars elsewhere. In the photo, the door is open but they're closed.

So disappointing…the food lacked flavor and the tortillas were not good quality (ie tasted like plastic).

My husband’s favorite place to eat in Cedar Falls. Rotating fruity salsas are worth a try!
