Casa Verde - Ramos - Cebu City

Food is delicious. Their new set meals are a great add-on to their menu. It gave us the chance to try the different variety of food that they offer. Their signature Brian's ribs is great. The vegetables are a bit underseasoned and bland. The place has a nice and calming vibe with the view of different trees and plants on the background.

This is where they started and now they are all over. Signature baby back ribs is still the bestseller and the deadly Death by Chocolate for dessert is unrivalled. I don't remember since the earlier times we've been dining here if they were already using melamine wares and this time after a very long while, can't help but notice and find them a bit oversized for the content making the food look smaller or fewer. Still one of the place to go to for some comfort food.

A supposed to be scrumptious meal was disappointing. The food wasn't as good as they used to be. Thought to have pasta to get rid of dinner but it was not palatable at all. My child found the Therese's pieces too loaded of batter as she can't taste the real chicken at all. The ribs was not as tender and a bit sour. It's not even served hot. I don't find it a good match for the meals to be served in plastic wares or what have they. The death by chocolate was a good complement in a way but the servers should have asked us first if we want it served already. The patio is a good outdoor dining area for social distancing. The area around the parking spaces is an eyesore. Needs thorough cleaning. The management needs to do something about it.

This is my 4th time to dine at this location. The staff is wonderful and super friendly and has been consistently every time I have eaten here (even the security guard/parking attendant). The food today was not as good as it usually is. We ordered a burger, the ribs and the karlemare. The karlemare was delicious and fresh but the bacon on the burger was super hard and the ribs were quite tough. We have had both of these things in the past at other branches but it was not nearly the same. I have ordered the burger once before at this location and I don't recall the bacon having any problems. So I think maybe it was timing but this is the second time experiencing the ribs being tough. The flavor of everything was still spot on though. I do not want to give it anything but a 5 star because it was still such a good experience. We still were full and happy by the end of our meal.

Great place for a private party. Food is always great. They have extra parking space outside.
