Brio Wine and Dine - Cebu City

We had a wonderful family dinner at this restaurant! The food not only looks good, but tastes fantastic as well. We highly recommend trying their buffalo wings for starters, followed by the deconstructed Caesar salad - it was delicious! For the main dish, we suggest trying their pork chop and burger. Yum!

The food was exceptional, from the appetizers like chicken liver pate, buffalo chicken, Caesar's salad, and bruschetta to the entrees such as stewed beef and pan-fried grouper. The presentation of the food was akin to a work of art, with fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable, with the house wine being both affordable and high-quality compared to other bistros in Cebu City. The chef's passion for food was evident in every dish, leading us to return to the restaurant multiple times. The only downside was the noise from construction on the upper level and the need for improvement in the ladies' restroom for a more comfortable experience. Kudos to the chef for delivering such a memorable dining experience.

In terms of service, I would give it a rating of 2.5. It may not be 5-star Michelin quality, but for the price, you can overlook any clumsiness from the wait staff. The ambience and venue receive a solid 3 rating, as it may be a bit cramped for large groups but perfect for intimate dinners. The location is a bit tricky to find, next to phase one of the building. When it comes to the food, I give it a confident 5 stars. The crispy red snapper on cauliflower puree and seafood risotto are must-try dishes. The short ribs are also highly recommended, as well as their delicious Lava cake for dessert. The prices at Brio are very reasonable, ranging from 120-350 for entrees and 340 for a bottle of wine. Overall, Brio is a fantastic new restaurant in Cebu that offers high-quality, intricate dishes at affordable prices. It's definitely worth a visit and deserves a spot on the list of the best new places in the area. A must-try for food enthusiasts!
