The reception, service, presentation and quality of the dishes, no matter what to say, everything was perfect.We recommend the Auberge without hesitation. And a big thank you to the boss.
How to say, when booking we are advertised a service between 7pm and 8pm, we arrive at 8pm and we already feel that the service comes to an end. 95% curists have a special menu. We are pressed throughout the meal, which is of poor quality. The staff is eagerly waiting for our departure. We barely went out (at 9:05!!!!), which the restaurant closed. Getting up early is not an excuse or so you have to change your profession, restoration is not an easy trade. Instead, go to the restaurant Les kakis a little higher in the street whose value and welcome are much better.
A classic restaurant that wants to be gastronomic but does not afford it Paper as a tablecloth and paper towels for a relatively high basket. About 80€ for 2 covers. All the dishes are good with a small flat on the overcooks.
I spent time in Barbotan and had lunch at the Auberge. Friendly welcome, excellent cuisine, attentive service. Deliciously cooked and tasty dishes, an excellent local wine, for rather sweet prices. I strongly recommend this address.
We had lunch at the Auberge on Saturday 14 August 2021, a menu at 24 € that had enchanted us; we had a very favourable opinion that we had just withdrawn because we returned this afternoon 22 August 2021, 8 days later. What's the matter? Like what the days follow and don't look like, but the weeks too... On the one hand, the brewery menu at 24 € as well as the greedy menu at 34 € (with several choices have disappeared completely from the map (although still to date on the website, without having been informed by the person in charge of our reservation, certainly a forgetful of its part... We therefore have the option of taking either the gascon menu at 32 € with a more than restricted or non-existent choice or the menu on the map. We therefore have price 2 burgers Aubergade (which we asked for bleeding and which arrived almost boiled to the point after 43 minutes of waiting and 3 couples arrived after us and served before, à la carte at 15 € each that was already part of the menu at 24 €, we did not take the fresh salmon entrance married to the anth at 12 € that was included among other in the menu at 24 €. In dessert I took a mist cream with speculoos at 6 € that appeared on the website at 5 € the card and my husband a cut of prune-armagnac ice at the same price as on the internet is 7 €. We also took a bottle of Tursan Empress 37.5 cl year 2017 on the wine map but no indication of the year on the bottle??? At the time of the addition we expressed our dissatisfaction to the Responsible who elected the question of the burgers and concerning the bottle showed us that the vintage was only on the bottles 75 cl and not 37 cl (is that normal because who proves us that this wine is good from 2017 as announced on the map? . No commercial gesture on his part! I don't know.
