Opus One - Cavan

During my stay in County Cavan, I did not stay at this hotel, but I visited the Atrium Bar in the Cavan Crystal Hotel for dinner. It was so delicious that I ended up going back for a second night. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent both times. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We dined at this restaurant during our stay at the hotel. The menu had a nice variety and the food was prepared perfectly. The staff was welcoming and attentive.

Myself 9 other family members managed to get seated for lunch in this restaurant on St Patrick's Day without a reservation. I can definitely say no one was dissapppointed. The service was excellent, the waitresses were very friendly accommodating there were kids in our group but this didn't cause a problem. We were accommodated when requested a different item off the bar menu. As for the food. .excellent quality large portions. We had a variety of dishes and we all finished our plates. We will be back. Ps. I highly recommend the baked Alaska...Yum!

Had dinher in Opus One as part of dinner, bed and breakfast package which was very reasonably priced. Only two starters and mains were understandably on offer, but what they did was very good. There was either vegetable soup or a nice chicken vol au vent. The mains were stuffed chicken breast or baked salmon. I have seen the latter seriously overdone, but not today, just perfect. The roast vegetables including carrots and beetroot were both tasty and colourful. Nice dessert. Very affable, efficient staff throughout. Recommended.

Attention to detail in presentation of good food and wonderfully looked after by staff very friendly.
