Merchant Bar And Restaurant

They disappoint the evening in the merchantable and not the culinary experience we have come to connect with opentable restaurants. we came to an essentially half empty pub on Saturday night without atmosphere. the photos fool. that is not a restaurant. it is a pub that sells a bit of food on the side (what was bad quality to say the least). do not make the mistake of dressing up when they go tracksuits and runners seem to be a suitable dress code, we felt dressed in a hemd and jeans covered. we found the quality of food to be bad. the fish and chips tasted as if they came out of a microwave and the hühnerburger was not much better. the menus (which are handed out on a single a4 sheet paper) are completely out of the date we were told that they were not updated on the website for more than a year. this was disappointing as we had planned what we wanted to eat before the arrival, just to find that our first, second and third options were not available. unfortunately we had booked last minute and could not go to find somewhere else to go at 8:30 on Saturday. the only positive we took from the “Meal” was that we were in and out of the pub within 35 minutes. the server was also very warm and friendly. they gave us some good recommendations from places in galway to go for some live music.

Here on a recent trip to galway and was a huge farewell. Drinking were nice, but eating was not very good and my friends hardly touched theirs. I found a lot of bones in my fishing, it wouldn't matter if there were one or two, but there were at least 10 bones I picked. the service was in order, just left you alone and not checked in. we quickly finished our drinks, paid and left. ends until a mcdonald’s later in the night and that was better. I wouldn't go back in here.

The nachos were excellent, the music was great, we would go back!

Food was poor. Got the bruschetta and the bread was stale. Burger was cold. Staff were very nice and friendly.
