My wife and I started the trip a bit off season and after a loooong night on a ferry, we couldn't get a morning coffee due to the local opening schedule of most shops. We drove 350km, beat, dizzy, hungry...the works, we got our accomodation and started hunting for food So, this place was the first we found open, on a Sunday evening, waaaay off season...and we got in with our dog Corso pup. The menu is in Italian only) but nothing too complicated that a bit of general knowledge and GTranslate couldn't handle. Where questions were still present, both the waitress and the pizza cook helped out as best they could. We got 3 dishes to fill 3 empty bellies, some drinks and desert of the day. Each and every one of the plates was great. The first Italian food we got this trip was worth it The tuna steak was just right in texture, flavor and fat. The calamari squid were crunchy, gummy and flavorful, especially with the salad and some lemon on top. Since the place was well spoken on pizza, we couldn't pass a taste 4 formagi is our benchmark and it was just right not too fatty, not too oily, good cheese mix and superb consistency. Desert was strawberry pie served cold after the meal we had...it was the perfect topper sweet but not too much, the strawberry flavor and a tad of creamy vanilla, all at fridge temp, wrapped in moist mille feuille. I hope you get a chance to tase their food, drink their coffee and feel the same satisfaction as I did earlier this evening
I had the opportunity to meet and eat in this restaurant during a trip. I found the owner as well as all his staff really kind and super helpful, who were able to advise me well... If you also love cuisine based on fish you can't help but stop here, I won't stay here to list what I ate... the photos speak for themselves. The only disappointment was not being able to try the pizzas...
The place is the best you could wish for, on the beach of Catanzaro Lido. Family atmosphere, courteous, patient and professional staff. The owners are affable. The pizza chef is very good because he is able to prepare excellent pizzas in his wood-fired oven in a very short time. I celebrated my son 's 18th birthday in this place but at the first opportunity I will return to eat their excellent pizzas, perhaps sitting on their spacious veranda while also enjoying the sound of the sea.
A place with a friendly, familiar, elegant and friendly style. When you come here you feel right at home. The evening is enlivened by soft and pleasant music. The staff are well-prepared, very friendly and always friendly and extremely helpful. Then what can I say about the owner, Rosario, available and welcoming, always with a smile. Very present during the evening with customers and also very helpful in speaking Vast and always innovative menu of very fresh fish and fresh meat. Abundant starters. The pizza always at the top I highly recommend it both for a dinner for two, for a family dinner, and for celebrating anniversaries together with relatives and friends.
Nice seaside pizza restaurant in Giovino, very professional and friendly staff and owner. Very nice dishes and fresh fish, the pizza is also good and leavened correctly so as not to weigh you down!
