Barnacles - Castries

On the delicious kitchen, eat in the ambiente of a ~300 year old stone building on the island pigeon, sets the scene for a romantic evening. chef didier is amazing. In short he could pluck up a delicious dinner with all our fresh catch of the day, dorado baracuda. starting from a decadent unique kokosnuss dorado ceviche, he followed with fried dorado head/neck/roe (per our request), and then finished with baracuda filets plantains in a creamy tomato base. would highly recommend...and look forward to coming back, chatting with the chef and hanging in a truly unique space.

We had our high time on the rasen with a view of the sea november 2019. barnacles was not planned to open this day, but our high-time planner spoke to them and they opened for us. we had the park and barnacles for us. the couple who got the place was so much fun visiting as they made the best drinks around punsch. the whole place is so cool with stone and small hide everywhere. we could not try to eat this, but the drinks were excellent! when they go to the park, they should definitely get in.

5 of us had a nice meal and cocktails at midday. had a mix of foods including paella, mosquitoes and chips and calamari, all really delicious and cheap and waitress was very friendly, would definitely recommend as a great place to eat and drink.
