Le Grand Cafe - Castres

We went out for a Sunday dinner outside waited a long time. glasses were dirty and kir served in a cup not a weinglas should then have left. due looked very embarrassing and not very nice, service very slow even after the hurry still. expected a very long time between the curses. wasting money and very disappointed compared to some of the French resturants we have tried.the worse and the most expensive . bad quality and bad service.

I visited the caffe in a public holiday. there were not many people there; even we had to sit there long before someone noticed us. the patron told us we couldn't eat there because he had too many people eat there. at the same moment came a waitress with a menu and said it was good. He pulled his face and went away. eating is cheap relatiw, but the meat was practically uncooked and the house wine is really cheap and nasty, only fit to drink with water.

We visited brassac, while on a minitour through the national park haute languedoc. brassac is a charming liitle city on a river with the mountains as a background. the only cafe was the grand cafe near the bridge. the choice of food. poor, the few natives were in almost raw escape, the blood that came out brought me from the indifferent omlette with frozen mcdonald type chips. the service was irritable, we felt that we were intrusive. I welcome visiting the opposite, which is very picturesque, but eating elsewhere.

Idéalement placé sur la place de l'hôtel de ville, le grand café porte bien son nom! Une grande salle intérieure et de nombreuses places extérieures soit au soleil soit à l'ombre des platanes, il y a de la place. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et offrent une large sélection de produits, toujours avec le sourire.
