Bidrage med feedbackMy family and I ate at Bombay Palace over the Xmas Period, it was delicious as always. We would normally get a take away but wanted to eat out for a change. Annabel and her staff were lovely as always, and we are always made feel very welcome. Food was great, we all enjoyed it immensely. They have made a wonderful job of renovating the old Post Office, we are lucky to have this little gem in our Area.
Where do I start as I dont usually write reviews, though I feel compelled to share my experience with anyone who might like to save their money. Firstly , venue was cold .. maybe to match atmosphere? Secondly ,The manager, which I assume she was, was so rude to us and her staff.. the staff were robotic who had no personality made everything seemed like it was an inconvenience. Poor service as the dish was left down with thumb in rice. Handing out hot plates, the waitress couldn't reach in so asked a member from our table to take it. They were hot, she had been using a teatowl. Thirdly, the food. Chicken in a sauce which could have been done at home with a few spices and yogurt.. the starters were ok..which redeemed the visit to not been a total disaster. Overall .. not a very friendly authentic indian restaurant. Will not be back.
It’s super food real fresh ! real Indian ! You’ll pay for it but it will be lovely food have to say ..

We ate in Bombay Palace on the bank holiday Monday 1st June. We were in the area for work struggling to find anywhere else serving food, and stumbled across the Bombay Palace, not sure what to expect. Well I have been to India and would cook a lot of Indian food myself and I can safely say the food here was exceptional. Fresh, beautifully spiced, plentiful, an interesting and varied menu, not an ounce of grease in sight. My colleague agreed it was THE best Indian she had ever tasted too. Hats off to the chef and the lovely lady front of house, who we believe was his wife. Thank you.
