Mr K's - Castleblayney legal

My family and I recently had the experience of ordering a take away from this premises, on each occasion previous food was amazing, spent each birthday ordering food here from anywhere up to 60 euro on, was greeted on the phone by a very unpleasant female individual, recieved food which was uneatble, lady on phone argued they did not have menu on line where we ordered from, please Google royal jade castleblayney menu???, when called about poor quality of food she suggested the delivery man to come back to our home to take food away and test it as if to insinuate we were liars after years of custom. Strongly advise not to eat in this establishment, believe they are reheating products, food not what it used to be , standards slipped and awful customer service, person on phone sounded intoxicated

We were looking for something different to eat in Castleblaney and thought let’s give the Jade Garden a go. Well we looked at the menu and the prices were ridiculous 15 euros for a plain chow mien is a joke. Coming from the U.K. the dishes here were at least 3 times the cost safe to say we left without ordering

Our experience was not good. I had Spare Ribs to start they were tepid and utterly tasteless. They should never have been put on a plate. The restaurant business can be tough and it's easy to criticize, especially on forums such as this so I generally try to be kind but The Royal Jade does not allow such an opportunity. The main meals were pretty tasteless there was no sense of a chef taking a genuine interest in what was served. By any objective standard the food was poor (and not cheap). Serving staff were friendly but really, the food was a long way from tasty. No repeat visit to this location.

My friend and I were in Castleblaney for the weekend and found this terrific restaurant. The food was superb. Staff very efficient and friendly. Lovely décor and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

This is a great restaurant. Great selection of food and service is great. Food good located on the main street close to pubs and switch nightclub.
