Dhaka - Castlebar legal

Have ordered a number of takeaways from this restaurant and have never been disappointed . The Chicken Tikka Bhuna a bit on the hot side but tasty Pilau Rice was good also . Restaurant is reasonably priced .

Today we dined in Dhaka and the service was super friendly absolutely lovely staff, the food speaks for itself, it was simply stunning!! I ordered the tandoori chicken masala and it’s the most delicious dish I’ve ever had! Thank you so much we will see you soon again, we would highly recommend eating here..

Staff lovely. The curry was mediocre at best. I ordered a Jalfrezi. Lots of heat but it could have been anything. The lamb was very tender. Tasted more of curry powder than real flavour. I’ve clearly been spoiled by many excellent Indian restaurants. It’s not bad especially if you have nothing to compare it to. But you won’t write home about it. It’s beige

Visited this restaurant recently and on arriving without a booking the premises was quite full. We had our young kids with us and were not comfortable with indoor dining, just yet. No problem. The staff offered to put a couple of tables outside which was perfect for us. The food was top quality and overall for the 4 of us, the price was reasonable. Lovely evening and thanks for that little extra step.

Great place if you need a good curry. Simple dining but hits the mark. Lovely butter chicken, lamb jalfrezi and prawn bhuna. Nann bread with coconut was delicious. Friendly host too.
