Bidrage med feedbackChina caffe is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had! when we came to the restaurant, there were stacks of food ready for collection and delivery. that was a good sign of the dings that should come. the atmosphere is cozy and its many stands to sit. the staff was very friendly and offers excellent service. the owner appeared and came by to welcome us personally in the restaurant. we started with the Vietnamese eer roles and crab cheese wontons and were excellent. the vietnamese egg rolls were packed with a delicious chicken and pork combination and a large servier. the crab cheese wontons were warm and tasteful. we ordered a lot of plates, so we could all try and share different things. the table was filled with generous portions of all dishes. her orange chicken must be her best seller, because it was the best I've ever eaten. the huh had an amazing cripple when you took one bit. the orange sauce was made home and you could taste the fresh orange and the hauch of chili peppers. the jalapeno meat dish was full of tasty delicate bark meat with a tasteful sauce that tasted fresh jalapenos. the drunkin noodle plate with bark was fresh and tasteful. the noodles were perfectly cooked and must have been homemade. once again the bark was tender and tasty. the fried rice with garnelen was excellent and had a lot of garnel. Although we had enough food to feed a little poor, we ordered the sesam rolls for the desert. they had an amazing texture and a delicious taste. are they ready to take some delicious foods after home, because we ate until we were full and still enough left for several meals. if they are happy enough to live near the china caffe, they must try it! there is no doubt in my head, they become a more regular after them. I often drive through castle rock on I-25, so I will often be back.
Moo Gu Gai pan sucks all it has in it is chicken, mushroom, water chestnuts and maybe 10 snow peas in it. The worst I’ve ever had!
I hadn't been to the China Cafe in years. My prior experience was poor, but I'd heard it had improved. Unfortunately, it was just as bad as last time. First impression was a shoddy interior. Then the service was so slow I seriously thought about leaving as I had only an hour for lunch. It took a long time just to get a menu. I had to hurry through the meal, but there was nothing to savor in any case. It wasn't terrible, just bland and edible. There are at least three Chinese/Asian restaurants in Castle Rock that are much better.
Quintessential Chinese American spot inconspicuously located in a shopping center. Lunch combo had great portions, good flavors, and the right price. Worth a stop!
Have been ordering for a couple years. Locally owned and operated. Food is consistently good and fresh. I enjoy eating in and taking out. Just ordered take out today an always enjoy this place. Owner is very nice and professional. If you haven't tried them, you won't be disappointed.
